Parents are requested to verify each absence by phoning the office on the first morning of the absence. Absences not verified by phone by the third day are subject to verification by the teacher via a phone call to the parent.

If a student brings a note to the classroom to verify his/her absence, the teacher is responsible for recording it. Circle "absences due to illness" in black; "absences due to doctor or dentist appointments" in red.

Tardiness

Students arriving after 8:15 AM or morning assembly must report to the office for an "admit slip" prior to going to their classrooms.

Entrance/Withdrawal Records

All students new to the school or withdrawing from it must clear the entrance or withdrawal through the ACS office so that proper records can be maintained.
